July Club Meeting - Back at the BRACHE

Our July Club meeting on 15th July will be held back in the Trophy Room in the Brache.
This is an important meeting, and ALL members are requested to attend. With the immenent closure of the Caddington site, the Committee would like to bring you up to date and review our options for the future.

Flying Field news 24th June 2009

Many members will have heard that the new site owners would begin works soon and had requested that we leave the site by 1st July.
We have now been given a small extension to that date, and we now have permission for continued use of the site until the 14th July. If we are lucky we may even get further extensions.
Updates will be posted here and on Posters in the Club Hut. So please check regularly for the latest news.

vrcmfc becomes 3 Counties MFC

At the February Club night a new name was chosen for our Club. As our landlord is no longer Vauxhall Recreation club, it seemed appropriate to re-name the club and pick a name which reflects the geographic diversity of our membership.

2.4 Ghz Radio Equipment

Members using the 2.4 Ghz radio sets are requested to comply with the BMFA reccomendations as follows: All members using 2.4 GHz radios must place a BLACK peg, which clearly displays their name, on the BLACK COLOURED SECTION of the peg board when their radios are in operation. Additional wind direction indication has been placed at the pilots box to replace that which would normally be on the long aerial of a 35 MHz TX.
